Draft Reconciliation Action Plan

We are in the process of developing our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). A draft RAP has been developed in collaboration with Reconciliation Australia and with the support of funding from the Australian Government's National Landcare Programme.

The document identified actions we can take across key areas, including:

  1. Enhancing respect
  2. Enriching relationships
  3. Preserving our past
  4. Creating opportunities.

Our State Strategic Plan includes a statewide strategy to:

Deliver services that support Aboriginal people to care for Country and share traditional land management knowledge.

We are holding consultations across NSW between September and December 2017 with our staff, board members and interested stakeholders to gather input into our plan and to identify opportunities to work collaboratively towards reconciliation.
