We live at Gwandalan and have noticed how dirty the lake has become in the last 6 months from grass clippings which is clogging the stormwater and swim area. It isn't hygiene to swim in any longer and is getting smelly and worse daily. it is a beautiful part of the world and is a shame that no one is dredging the edge of the lake. I'm sure the council when cutting the grass are not picking up the debris. There should be some kind of net preventing the debris from grass clippings entering the lake. I have notified the council and will see what they plan on doing before I notify the press.
